We are eager to collaborate with talents from various disciplines to foster growth and development within the U+ community.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About this opportunity:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are looking for Youth Advisors who are passionate about their community, committed to making an impact and creating positive change, and can make U+ more youth friendly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities are as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assess Community Needs: Conduct surveys to understand community needs and adjust programs to meet those needs.<\/li>\n<li>Engage Youth: Organize events and develop strategies to engage youth and encourage their ongoing participation.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Program Relevance: Act as a liaison, ensuring programs are relevant and impactful, and provide coaching and mentorship to youth, including personalized skill development.<\/li>\n<li>Build Community Connections: Attend school fairs and networking events to promote programs and foster connections with youth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Position requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working with teens and young adults.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills to handle communications and build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Canva and Google Workspace.<\/li>\n<li>Project management skills, organizational skills, and the ability to manage timelines and priorities.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to travel to meetings and conferences; some evenings and weekends may also be required.<\/li>\n<li>A valid G2\/G Driving license.<\/li>\n<li>A satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check is required from successful candidates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Assets:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fluency in multiple languages.<\/li>\n<li>Strong cultural sensitivity.<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving and counselling skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The salary for this position is\u00a0<strong>$26-30\u00a0<\/strong>per hour.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are you passionate about education and well-rounded development?
