You will be a part of the Finance &amp; Loans team and will assist with processing and documenting various loan-related transactions, while adhering to the appropriate internal targets.<\/p>\n<p>This is a permanent, full-time position based in Toronto, ON. The incumbent will be working on our hybrid work model (minimum 2 days in the office).<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you will do:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Maintain Integrity of the Loan Portfolio<\/p>\n<p>Prepare files for loan disbursements<br \/>\nEnsure loan advancement by accurately uploading disbursement EFTs<br \/>\nProcess auto-debit loan payments as per scheduled due dates<br \/>\nMonitor loans email inbox to process manual re-debits of missed payments arranged by the client support team<br \/>\nPrepare the yearly audit confirmation letters to the auditor and assist with the process as needed<\/p>\n<p><strong>Review and Reconcile Loan Portfolio\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On a weekly basis, reconcile all loan transactions in the loans system and upload transactions to the Accounting system for month-end<br \/>\nWork with the Finance team to resolve any discrepancies that come up during the reconciliation<br \/>\nRun system reports periodically to ensure accuracy of loan portfolio<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prepare Monthly\/Quarterly Reports for Month-End &amp; Quarter-End\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Collaborate with Finance and other teams to provide various Excel-based ad hoc reports using the data in the loans system<br \/>\nProvide support to Director, Finance and Chief Finance Officer relating to loan portfolio reporting<br \/>\nAssist with monthly\/quarterly reports relating to disbursements, write-offs, and restructures to inform the Finance and Loans team on how the portfolio is doing while monitoring any related trends<\/p>\n<p><strong>Identify Process and System Improvements\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Suggest efficiencies related to workflow within the team<br \/>\nWork with manager on loan system improvements and use feedback from team to identify gaps<br \/>\nIdentify reporting needs and collaborate with vendor support team to implement updates as needed<br \/>\nAd hoc duties as assigned by the manager to help support the Loans and Finance team<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you will have:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Relevant experience may include education\u202fwith a focus in Finance, Business Administration or related discipline or equivalent hands-on career experience<br \/>\n2 years&#8217; experience in loan portfolio or business administration<br \/>\nDetail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy<br \/>\nFull proficiency in Microsoft Office &#8211; Intermediate-level Excel skills, including dynamic spreadsheets and intermediate-level skills with other MS Office software<br \/>\nDemonstrated experience in working with a client relationship management (CRM) system<br \/>\nDemonstrated experience in supporting internal and external client needs<br \/>\nProven success working proactively both independently and as part of a team<br \/>\nTrack record of contributing ideas and implementing process improvements<br \/>\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment<br \/>\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, responding to multiple queries and deadlines simultaneously<br \/>\nExcellent English verbal and written communication skills<br \/>\nBilingualism in French &amp; English (spoken &amp; written) is an asset<br \/>\nExperience and\/or passion for Futurpreneur\u2019s mission and the entrepreneurial ecosystem is an asset.<br \/>\nAlignment with Futurpreneur\u2019s values and commitment to the mission\/purpose of the organization<br \/>\nBe a role model for Futurpreneur\u2019s organizational culture by creating a positive impact at every touchpoint with people<\/p>\n<p><strong>HOW TO APPLY:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Qualified candidates are invited to submit their resume, cover letter and salary expectations by January 6th, 2023.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What we offer:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Futurpreneur offers you the opportunity to work for an organization with a clear and compelling purpose &#8211; To drive inclusive Canadian prosperity by fueling the success of young enterprise.
