About this opportunity:

We are looking for Youth Advisors who are passionate about their community, committed to making an impact and creating positive change, and can make U+ more youth friendly.

Key responsibilities are as follows:

• Assess Community Needs: Conduct surveys to understand community needs and adjust programs to meet those needs.
• Engage Youth: Organize events and develop strategies to engage youth and encourage their ongoing participation.
• Ensure Program Relevance: Act as a liaison, ensuring programs are relevant and impactful, and provide coaching and mentorship to youth, including personalized skill development.
• Build Community Connections: Attend school fairs and networking events to promote programs and foster connections with youth.

Position requirements:

• Experience working with teens and young adults.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to handle communications and build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Canva and Google Workspace.
• Project management skills, organizational skills, and the ability to manage timelines and priorities.
• Ability to travel to meetings and conferences; some evenings and weekends may also be required.
• A valid G2/G Driving license.
• A satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check is required from successful candidates.

The salary for this position is $26-30 per hour.
